I am soooo excited to share with you that I am once again teaching in Sydney at the Paper Crafts Festival at Penrith.

Workshop Details;

‘Creative Freedom’ with Louise Nelson

In this workshop Louise will share with you some of her current favourite techniques for creating unique and individual layout backgrounds; using gesso, tissue paper, mist, and paint! Louise has used small/proof sized black and white photos, however you are encouraged to bring what ever photos you prefer and create your own individualised layouts. The kit and class supplies will provide you with enough product for the completion of 2, 12 x 12 layouts.

The pictures are representative only, of the techniques being demonstrated in the class. The freestyle and arty techniques being demonstrated are exactly that, FREESTYLE, so your results will be different, individual and unique to YOU! I encourage you to embrace your inner freestyler and have a ton of creative scrappy FUN!!

Friday Nov 2

Sat Nov 3
10am – 12pm – Louise Nelson

The cost of each class is $55 per person.

You will also pay the entry fee to the show but if you book into one of the classes you will get three days entry for the price of one!

Today I would like to share with you my creative fun with the Prima September BAP & PPP

First up is the BAP

Materials used; grey board - Imaginarium Designs, resin,  bling, watch parts, alphas, flowers - Prima, Mist - Tattered Angels, cotton thread, Signo gel pen, indian ink, gesso.

And lastly my layout for the Colour PPP challenge

Materials used; grey board - Imaginarium Designs, flowers, bird, alphas, leaves - Prima, mist - Tattered Angels, feathers, florists vine, gesso, indian ink, staples, sign gel pen.

Today I would like to share with some creative fun I have been having at Aussie Scrap Source :) This month the team were asked to show different ways to alter your photos :) :) :) doooo go check out what awesomeness  the team have created for your inspiration!

To alter these black and white photos I used Hero Arts Water Colour Wheel paint :)

Tattered Angels :) :) :)

I want to share with you the fabulous colour theory fun I have been having at Tattered Angels :)

First up is Analogous colour scheme layout. I have used pink, orange and yellow with these Tattered Angels products; Alaskan Salmon , Polka Dot Pink, and Firefly.

Lastly is a layout with a purple monochromatic theme. I have used 4 different shades of purple from the tattered Angels range; Concord Chalkboard , Blitzen Glimmermist, Pop Rocks, Mardi Gras, and layered them over and over until i got the particular shade of purple that I wanted 

I really enjoyed creating these layouts, this month Ive been a bit starved of time to create :(

I would love to share with you the colour theory creative fun we are having at Tattered Angels :)

Materials; 12 x 12 grey board and chipboard embellishments - Imaginarium Designs, mist - Tattered Angels, flowers - Prima,  crackle paint and paint pen - Verro, florists vine, indian ink, staples gesso.

I was really happy at the effects i got with the combination of the mist and crackle paint :)
