Julie Fei-Fan Balzer :) :) :)

Hello Hello

Well what is not to love about this amazing creative?!!! Recently Julie invited me to be a guest blogger for her and talk a little about creating my own backgrounds using stencils/masks :) A subject dear to my creative heart :)

The layouts below are a couple I created to accompany the post; to show some of my favourite ways of using masks on my layouts :)


This first layout I used Julie's new CHA Winter release template 12 x 12 Patterned Leaves.

Materials used; 12 x 12 great board, chipboard hearts [designed my Me :)] - Imaginarium Designs, Patterned Leaves template - The Crafters Workshop by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, Sequin flower centre - Prima, paint - Hero Arts water color wheel, sequins, cotton thread, staples, impasto, spray gesso, black indian ink. 




Materials used; 12 x 12 great board, chipboard hearts [designed my Me :)] - Imaginarium Designs, Template [designed by Finnabair], alphas & Sequin flower centre - Prima, paint - Hero Arts water color wheel, sequins, cotton thread, staples, impasto, spray gesso, black indian ink, embossing ink and powder. 



This pic below is a close up of the subtle masked effect I got before embellishing the layout :)
