Punky Scraps Blog Hop :) :) :)

Hello hello and Welcome :) :) :)

Its Louise Nelson from Adelaide Australia :)
'Down Under'

I have been invited to be a guest blogger for the return to creative action of the Punky Scraps blog :) :)

Aaaand you have just arrived from The talented Jolanda's bog

So you know that we get to share with you some of our favourite projects, to hopefully inspire you to get all arty and scrappy with the Punky Scraps Sketch challenge!!!

Today I would like to share with you 3 layouts that show 3 fave techniques that I use in my scrapbooking :)

With this layout I created a fave background using a gesso and glimmer mist. I first apply gesso to my background; either sprayed, scrapped or painted on, and then allow it to dry. I then spray with mist, and allow to dry. The effects are rarely predictable, but I love this!

In this layout I used a fave embellishment technique; using string or embroidery thread, gathering it up in a messy random way and then stapling it on to my background.

With this layout I used gesso on my background and applied in with a spray bottle, I so love the effect i get when I allow it to dribble down the page.

Well that is it form me from me :) I do hope that you are a wee bit inspired :) :) :)

  17. Such beautiful detail, color, movement, Louise! Stunning! The sprayed gesso results are so cool! Do you water the gesso down in a spray bottle, or is it a super thin formula you use? I must try it!
